In these cases, it may be necessary to paint this brick. Yet, painting brick is not always easy as it may many small imperfections that cannot easily be covered up. Here are the basic steps to painting interior brick:

1) First, it is a good idea to scrub the brick carefully with a special cleanser solution, such as TSP. This will remove any residue that can get in the way of the adhesion. In addition, you can vacuum the bricks and remove all the dust. Also, do remember to let the bricks dry thoroughly.

2) The next step in painting interior brick is to repair the joints and to fill any cracks or holes in the mortar. To do so, you will need mortar and a small trowel. If there is any large cracks, caulk can also be used.

3) Now it is time to apply a latex primer that is designed specially for brick and masonry. After applying the primer and letting it dry out, it is time to apply a latex paint. You can also apply a second coat if there is need for it and you can use a small brush to touch up corners, cracks, and crevices.

Now, if in your house there is concrete that is making your home look dull, then it may be time to add some color to it. Here are the basic steps to do so:

1) The very first step is to prepare the room and the floor. Start by removing all furniture, protecting the walls, covering the baseboard. Then, continue by washing off any dirt and grime and mopping the floor. Finally rinse the floor thoroughly so that no residue is left behind that can get in the way of the paint.
